EcoVadis
EcoVadis is a global sustainability assessment platform that evaluates and benchmarks our sustainability performance across various metrics. Each year, we complete a comprehensive questionnaire and receive a sustainability scorecard, which highlights our strengths and areas for improvement. This transparent assessment allows our customers to access our sustainability data, ensuring you can meet your responsible supply chain practices.
Inspired Energy
Inspired Energy helps us understand our carbon footprint and develop a pathway to achieve net-zero emissions by 2050. Their expertise in energy and sustainability enables us to set and implement clear plans to improve our ESG performance, covering a range of regulatory metrics to ensure comprehensive and accurate disclosures.
Redcentric’s ESG Initiatives
Our commitment to ESG is reflected in several key initiatives:
Energy efficiency in data centres: We have undertaken significant projects to enhance energy efficiency in our data centres. This includes an ongoing programme to install solar panels as well as investments in our cooling facilities. These improvements help reduce our environmental footprint by providing more energy-efficient services.
Quarterly ESG Committee meetings: Our ESG committee, comprising Ops board members and other guests, meets quarterly to review our risks, obligations, and progress on our ESG targets. This centralised approach ensures we meet our reporting obligations and continuously improve our strategies.
ESOS reporting: Every four years, we produce an Energy Savings Opportunity Scheme (ESOS) report on our energy consumption. This report is part of our broader commitment to transparency and accountability in our energy use.
TCFD reporting: The Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures (TCFD) framework guides our reporting on how climate initiatives impact our financials and our customers’ energy use. This includes detailed analysis across Scope 1, 2, and 3 emissions:
Scope 1: Direct emissions from our operations.
Scope 2: Indirect emissions from business travel and fuel use.
Scope 3: Emissions influenced by your use of our products and services.
